With the overabundance of real time news and a never ending stream of freshly published content online, I’ve found that, at times, I’ve neglected to cultivate my mind by reading books. I enjoy disconnecting from the insta-world we live in by picking up a book – it’s an almost zen-like meditation experience. Below are a collection of mini book reviews; not so much reviews as simply my take or thoughts on these pieces. You’ll notice that there is no real common theme to these books: some are development oriented, some are memoirs, some are fiction, some are old and others are new. The one thing these books have in common is that I enjoyed them a great deal, and hope you will too.
